  Cybercrime is rapidly increasing in today’s world. According to Indian Computer Emergency Response (CERT-In), the first two months of 2022 has reported more cybercrimes than the entire 2018. India reported 2,08,456 incidents in 2018 and 2,12,485 incidents in the first two months of 2022. Majorly, the cybercrime is increasing through Internet. What is Cyber Awareness? Cyber Awareness involves the process of educating the internet users on cyber security best practices, cyber threats, the danger of clicking on malicious link or downloading an infected attachments, interacting online, disclosing sensitive information and so on, which they are or might face in today’s time. Iran has been in the news these days.  Fresh  protests broke out in Iran  on 19th September over the death of Mahsa Amini who had been arrested by the country's "morality police" for not wearing a hijab (headscarf), AFP reported citing local media. The morality police enforces strict dress code in the country.                     A 22-year-old Mahsa Amini was arrested and beaten up by the morality police because she was not wearing hijab (headscarf) properly. The girl died in hospital on 16th September after spending three days in coma. According to Tehran Police Chief, Amini had violated the dress code but no physical assault happened by the police to Amini and that she had died because of sudden heart failure. But her family said that she was fit and healthy. There were reports that Amini's head was beaten by a baton and banged her head against one of their vehicle. Chandigarh University Viral Video: Cyberattack on a Girl Student

Cybercrime is at its verge. One cybercrime takes place in every 10 minutes and for this reason it became very essential to be aware of cyberattack and take precaution related to cybercrime. But what if, you think that you are in a place where nobody can see you but there is actually someone recording you.                          Same happened with a girl student of #ChandigarhUniversity.  The incident took place on September 17, a  video has been leaked of that girl bathing in university's girls' hostel.  The hostel warden, who was seen in a viral video confronting the arrested girl who has been accused of allegedly sending the videos to men outside the university, reportedly didn't inform police about the matter immediately.
